Start Here For Me

This is the personal operating surface for the Knowledge Base. Use it to orient the week, choose what to read next, and decide what should be captured, compiled, verified, or turned into action.

Current shape

The vault is a simple Karpathy-style second brain:

• raw/ holds immutable source material, including typed personal observations and decisions.
• wiki/ holds the maintained synthesis, domain maps, open loops, research leads, decisions, and claim review.
• wiki/index.md is the broad reader map.
• wiki/log.md is the chronological operation record.

The current direction is broader than AI agents. AI remains a major domain, but the vault should also support life, health, work, money, policy, communication, learning, and philosophy.

Weekly use

1. Review Open Loops for unresolved questions.
2. Add important external sources or personal observations to raw/ with the source profile fields from Source Intake Guide.
3. Compile high-signal sources into existing wiki pages before creating new pages.
4. Send time-sensitive or public-use claims to Claim Review.
5. Record durable decisions in Decision Log.
6. Add good publications, people, and source trails to Research Leads.

What good looks like

• The index feels like a map of life and work, not a list of AI-agent artifacts.
• High-signal raw sources become durable claims, frameworks, questions, and decisions in the wiki.
• Useful answers from queries are filed back into the smallest appropriate wiki page.
• Public-facing claims are checked before reuse.
• Personal experiments and reflections improve the same evergreen pages as external sources.
